The Challenge

Massimo approached Obsite to create a platform to share his passion and business as a financial consultant.Being a consultant, he always has to find ways to promote and sell his services. He, therefore, decided he wanted to have a website promoting his services and a blog where he could give some financial advice.

To The Site

The Design

A PROFESSIONAL PALETTE
The website has a very business-oriented professional colour palette: white, black and two tones of dark blue.We picked dark blue since it's the colour most often associated with corporate, expertise, and stability.To create good contrast to the blue, we picked a neutral backdrop for the site - white, which is also complemented by the black text.

AN ATTRACTIVE TYPOGRAPHY
We picked two different fonts, one serif and one sans.: Roboto slab and open sans.Roboto Slab is a font with a very geometric and mechanical feeling, which conveys a message of professionalism. Its open curves, at the same time, seem friendly and approachable.Open Sans is a neutral and friendly font with excellent legibility since it's optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces.

The Tech

Wordpress
For this project we used Wordpress for affordability, flexibility and speed. WordPress is a free and open-source content management system written in PHP and paired with a MySQL or MariaDB database. Features include a plugin architecture and a template system, referred to within WordPress as Themes.
Elementor
Wordpress is Versatile, but it can be even more versatile with a page builder such as Elementor. Together with Elementor and custom design we can make high-quality affordable and custom websites.
nginx
Wordpress natively supports Apache, but to really bring out the maximum performance on our wordpress servers, we proxy and cache the high-demand processes through our Nginx web server.

The Results

Obsite created a brand new website forMassimo, to showcase who he is and what he can do for his clients. The site is a one-page site thatincludes: a biography, job description, services offered and a contact form. In addition to the website, Obsitecreated a blog for Mr Zaniboni where he shares his financial advice with anytype of investor, from amateur to professional.
